Why the increase In Dating?

With the change in population demographics and the increase in women in the work place there has been a marked increase in single females compared to previous eras. Women are now no longer content to date and marry the one guy and with the increase in their personal choices this means that they too want a choice in the type of man they want to meet and date. They state that they don’t want to end up in a relationship like their mothers and fathers yet this often turns full circle and state later on ‘if only I could meet someone like my mother and father did!’.
Most females are happy to commit and remain in a monogamous relationship whilst others like to date a few men with no one in particular being serious boyfriend material.
Polyamory is also becoming an increasing trend where a male or a female has more than one close personal relationship at a time. Everyone involved in this type of relationship are fully aware of the circumstances and are in acceptance of one another.

The high increase in the divorce rates also mean that there are many out there who are onto their third or even fourth marriage before they find the right person.

Are we as a nation becoming choosier or is it that we don’t know what we have till it’s gone? Then it’s too late…
